The historic building of the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University in the conservation area of Olomouc has undergone a complete internal reconstruction. The building envelope has been replaced with new windows.
The two-storey tract with an internal four-storey extension required complete repair of plaster, electrical wiring, new low-current, water, and heat distribution systems. New sanitary facilities were also built, and a new air handling plant was constructed on the roof of the building. The monolithic team connected the staircase in the northern and eastern part of the building to the basement and increased its capacity by a 4th floor.
Our team executed all repairs with sensitivity and respect for the architectural style of the building. With a new lifting platform and two lifts, all areas will be comfortably accessible for wheelchair users.
