Anyone who goes to Hustopeče to see the flowering almond trees must notice the elegant terrace with a full glass wall. Behind it are the tasting rooms of the Starý vrch Winery, where wine connoisseurs from all over the country come all year round.
Designed by Jan Podešva of POParch studio, the tasting rooms are diamond-shaped and thus enhance the interior of the simple reinforced concrete block lined with PUR panels. The builder Tomáš Sedláček also worked with oak paneling cut from old beams.
The contract included not only representative but also production and storage areas. Although visitors do not normally have access to these, their functionality is directly reflected in the quality of the local wine.
